The play count on an individual IG post is gone for everyone.

Sadly IG is not making that available

As many of you know, video_play_count is null for /v1/instagram/post

And sadly, it doesn't look like its coming back 😬

Instagram changed something and as a result, they aren't returning the view count for that endpoint anymore

And its down for everyone, Apify, you name it, isn't able to get this data anymore from a specific post

The workaround would be to use https://t.co/b6Md92wh4W or https://t.co/iwm1jMmCL4 and keep paginating until you find the post and update the view counts from that

I know that sucks, but its the only solution we have unless Instagram returns view counts again for an individual post.

But something tells me they don't want to do that

Or maybe we'll find a solution, but it doesn't look good

Looks like Instagram again changed something that caused our /v1/instagram/post endpoint to fail

Its back up thanks to our backup, but as a result, there is no view/play count

if you make content and you're not using ScrapeCreators to build reference files on what the top dogs are doing you're insane.

Saw @rileybrown demo Codex + Scrapecreators API use cases recently and adapted it for my youtube intros.

1. used codex + scrapecreators api scrape Riley's top 10 youtube video intros
2. built a skill called "Riley YouTube Intro" in codex that takes my transcript as input
3. outputs intros in my voice (using my brand voice skill) that mimic the formats of Riley's top intros

tested it today on 2 videos I recorded this morning and the quality is 10x better than my previous youtube intro skill.
