Get a cool new variant for Scream in our new limited time event... A card that is banned in the game mode even though there's a pre built deck that synergises with that exact card 🤣
The devs who get constantly yelled at for not balancing the game correctly with one role format are going to spontaneously start balancing for two different formats that swap between each other at random.
Look at the Doctor Doom's gauntlet more carefully.
Those engravings are Latverian Sorcery Runes ancient mystical symbols channeled directly through Doom's armor. He isn't blocking Thor's attack physically.
He is absorbing it through runic sorcery and dispersing it harmlessly.
In the comics Doom's sorcery combines three distinct schools
Latverian Runic Magic ancient spells permanently engraved into his armor creating a constant mystical barrier around his entire body.
The Dark Arts - learned from multiple sorcerers across different dimensions over decades of study. Doom is considered one of the most powerful sorcerers in Marvel history alongside Doctor Strange.
Soul Absorption - Doom previously trapped the souls of the Haazareth Three demons inside his armor to amplify his magical power beyond its natural limits
The runes on his gauntlet act as a mystic conductor - absorbing the full force of an Odinforce powered Thor strike and neutralizing it through enchantment.
This is why Doom is categorically different from every MCU villain before him.
Thanos needed six Infinity Stones.
Doom has this level of power written permanently into his armor.
My initial reaction...
Doesn't put a foot wrong yet in terms of character moments. But still so vague as to the actual plot of the movie and why we should care about a totally new baddie (within the MCU canon)
