Openly acknowledges the seemingly inherent inferior nature of sequels and then just puts on an absolute master class for how to make them just as great as their originals, if not better.

Of course I’m talking about before the beer tap finish lol The initial moments of him being stabbed off screen and falling through doors into the scene with no visible wounds, just a lot of blood, was very suspicious.

Something about the Bar scene seems like his death was originally intended as a fake out, maybe changed to throw the scent off Anna Camp after leaks

One of the killers being a nobody was weird though, with another one being almost just as much of a nobody.

Also do wish Ghostface would go back to being just a guy in a costume that falls a lot during chases. Ghostface been too menacing in the new generation.

Finally watched #Scream7 again without all the expectations I went into it with first time…

This movie is actually great! I love 5 and 6 in their own way but I really do wish this had just been Scream 5, it feels like the franchise is returning to its core story.

@horrorvrs Probably cope, but I always had this feeling it was all orchestrated to one day lead to Scream 10: Endgame, where carpenter sisters surprise come back to save the day. Whole controversy thing was all fake to subvert the audience, they left that story right where they wanted.

@sistapam96 Reveal and lack of good phone calls with Jackson voice is biggest for me, other than that, especially if I strip away the possibly unfair expectations I went in with, it’s atleast as good as 4, better than 5 and 6. The beer tap kill is one of my all time favorites already.
