Inertia is definitely stronger now. Reddit persists despite it's universally hated revamp. A few years earlier Digg fared differently.

@Sol_HSA I don't think it's a waste of silicon, encoding instructions to do things the chip is already capable of is close to free. (it's all just connecting units to r/w on a bus)

Potentially it's exactly the same size with different values in a table.
