Tonight, the Russians struck Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities and communities. The largest number of missiles was directed at the capital – at ordinary residential buildings, at schools; they burned down a food market, one of Kyiv’s oldest markets. The Russian strike effectively destroyed the Chornobyl Museum, damaged the National Art Museum and the building housing the office of Germany’s ARD. As of now, 69 people have been reported injured in the capital. Tragically, two people were killed in this senseless Russian attack. My condolences to everyone who has lost family members and loved ones.
I have already spoken with the President of France and the Prime Minister of Norway. There will be further communication with our partners today. I am grateful to everyone who is not staying silent about what Russia is doing. They are waging war solely against our people – against our memory, our history, and everything that makes up normal human life. It is important that Russia understands that they will be held accountable for all these crimes.
Nope. From Reuters. Look it up. All of it is LIES. Just an excuse to attack Ukraine and boost putin's flagging popularity. ⬇️
>>Mr Leonid Pasechnik, head of the Russian-installed administration in the region, published a preliminary list containing details of the 21 victims. They were mainly female and the youngest had just turned 18.<<
First, it was sleeping children. Then, it was young women all over 18.
Russia lies. But it can't even get its lies straight.
Did you even bother to read the reports?

This is Kyiv now after Russia’s massive attack. The whole Lukianivka district including a metro station, its iconic market, and Ukraine’s first McDonald’s erased. Same time, on world stage, “anti-war russians” like Zviagintsev blame only Putin for war. No. It’s russians’ war.
Russia threatened to do this if Ukraine attacked the May 9 parade on the Red Square. After Trump’s intervention on Putin’s behalf, Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire so Russia could hold the parade. Two weeks later, Putin unleashed the ballistic missile barrage on central Kyiv anyway.
We are doing our best to achieve peace and protect people – everything. It is important that Ukraine is not alone. Decisions are needed – from the United States, from Europe and others – to make that old “Oreshnik” in Moscow finally utter the word “peace.”
In Kyiv, the number of people injured as a result of the enemy’s nighttime attack has risen to 56.
Thirty of them are currently hospitalized in city hospitals, including two children. At this time, two people are confirmed dead.
Rescue workers are still clearing rubble at some of the strike locations.
Russia Is a Terrorist State.
I wish my government would do more to protect Ukrainians from these attacks. Embarrassed that the US is just walking away right now. Hope that will change.
Just on Friday, Russia, acting as an impostor permanent member, abused the UN Security Council to stage a grotesque circus in Starobilsk. And already this very night, Putin launched the most barbaric missile strike on civilians in Kyiv. May Russia burn in hell eternally🤬🔥🔥🔥
While Russians target shipping malls and apartment buildings full of sleeping families in Kyiv, Ukrainian drones are destroying the Russian oil industry.
Majestic scenes from Russia's Vladimir region, where Ukrainian Defense Forces have just successfully struck the Vtorovo oil pumping station, a critical facility within the infrastructure of Russia’s state pipeline operator, Transneft.
The station serves as a key hub in Russia’s fuel transportation network, supporting the movement of petroleum products toward central regions of the country. Disruptions to its operation directly impact fuel supply logistics and the stability of resource transport across this sector of the Russian Federation.
President Zelensky points out that despite the fact that the increasingly decrepit Russian dictator is now only capable of saying "hoorah" with the power of a hospice patient, he uses his final days to send missiles into residential buildings.
⚠️ Russia strikes Ukraine’s memory
Russia’s overnight combined attack on Kyiv damaged two Ukrainian museums: the National Art Museum of Ukraine and the National Chornobyl Museum.
These are not military targets. NAMU preserves tens of thousands of works of Ukrainian art. The Chornobyl Museum keeps the memory of one of Europe’s defining disasters.
Russia strikes museums because museums hold identity, memory and proof that Ukraine existed long before Moscow tried to erase it.
The collections and staff at NAMU were not harmed. The damage is being documented.
Ukraine will restore the buildings. Russia’s crime will remain on record.

An hour after the strike, Yevhen - who sold his property to open a café in Podil district, Kyiv, near the Chornobyl Museum and officially opened the venue yesterday - was already back at work, serving coffee to everyone through the shattered windows.
His mother was there too, offering sweets.
This is how Ukrainian business lives.

Putin wanted to show “strength” but only confirmed his weakness.
Overnight, Russia carried out one of the largest terrorist attacks on Kyiv with around 600 drones, many dozens of ballistic, air-ballistic, and cruise missiles, and a dummy IRBM.
Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Zhytomyr regions were also under attack.
As of now, at least two civilian people have been reported killed and many dozens injured. These numbers may grow. Many residential buildings have been damaged.
Unable to achieve any results on the battlefield, Putin turns to terror against civilians.
This strike was probably meant to demonstrate “strength” to the domestic audience, but instead it only confirms Putin’s weakness. Even Russians see that he is a loser.
His “special operation” is not achieving any results. Losses are enormous, but there is not a single achieved goal. Except that there are no safe places in Russia any more, as Ukraine ramps up its special long-range sanctions.
To our allies, I want to say this: it is time to double down, not back down, in supporting Ukraine and increasing pressure on the Russian regime.
We call for additional defense capabilities, including to protect our sky; investment in our defense industry; increased pressure on Russia, including entry ban for Russian combatants, full use of frozen assets; strong political decisions with regard to Ukraine’s EU accession and other steps.
The world has the leverage. It needs to be used right — to show Moscow that such strikes will not bring any results — and force Russia to end this war.
