#EndeavourPBS On behalf of Oxford's Finest -- many thanks for the thoughtful tweets and messages since Sunday's final US broadcast.
Thanks for watching. It's really has meant the world -- to all of us.
So.
Happy Independence Day!
And, of course...
Mind how you go.

@Keestah@SaxonKate@Matt_Slater Many thanks, you dear and lovely man. Can’t wait to see what Team #Grace have in store for us down in Brighton next week.
@aroomofmyown1 It was not. But thank you for asking.
I have appeared once -- obliquely. The where and when of it, indeed, the full gen on all things Endeavour may be found at https://t.co/n6EAK4xM3N faithful chronicler of all our adventures and dauntless pursuer of all our secrets.
And... Exhale.
Many thanks for the kind, generous and thoughtful messages which have arrived since last night.
With much regret, I fear that such is the volume I may have to forego my customary habit of trying to reply personally to each one that comes in.

One or two have noted that I’m not on here much at the moment. In truth, the account is more or less dormant. Nothing sinister.
I hope you’ll forgive me if - for a while at least - I dip contented oars.
Meantime — mind how you go.

(4/4 -- End)
Exploring the world & characters created by Colin Dexter has been the greatest privilege for over four decades. Now, at last, with affection and gratitude, I return the keys to the Jag to their rightful owner.
Thanks, Colin. I did my best not to scratch the paintwork.

@RobDenBleyker@Cobratate@GretaThunberg It's like watching Wile E. Coyote paint a tunnel for the road runner. Then a train comes out of it and hits him. Then Romanian police get off the train and arrest him for human trafficking.
We already do not have enough skilled crew to keep up with the production boom in this country, esp as Brexit killed freedom of movement/work within EU. There needs to be a huge investment in training, outreach, apprenticeships. Not least to increase diversity.

@amandarprescott Delighted to hear it holds up nearly 30 years on! A lovely show to make. Shot in Hungary. S1 directed by the late & much lamented Graham Theakston. Also v.sorry to hear over Christmas that the wonderful Ronan Vibert (a memorable guest in The Virgin in the Ice) has gone ahead.
@BraxM If only we'd known!! I could've gone skinny-dipping and been picked up by the Secretary of State for War!
Exploring the left hand side of the lane, as one approaches the Old Mill, we stumbled on - amongst the undergrowth - a very odd little gravestone with a single name on.
@BraxM Our Unit Base for S2 - (2013!) was in the old Mill at the end of that road. Mostly unrecognisable now after intensive redevelopment all the way down the lane. Bitter winter. Many of the buildings were derelict and open to the elements. Hand-warmers for the actors!
