A very well-known story about ignorance and rich(powerful) one in the history of China, is there was an emperor who asked his advisors in his palace, "why people don't eat meat?"(何不食肉糜？), while regular folks are dying because of famine on the streets.

The major conflict in this country is the ignorant (especially also rich) ones against the rest of the people. And when the ignorant rich ones are powerful and in charge of making major decisions which could impact the rest, the harm is beyond comprehensive.

Lobbying contributes fund to political campaigns. If all voters do their work to understand where candidates stand, political commercials have no effect on them. I see those commercials are a waste. Don't let them feed you what they want you know. Reduce money power in politics!

I spent maybe 6 hours visiting every Primary candidate's website that I could vote for, regardless of their party affiliation. For those who do vote, do they do that?
I dislike the fact that I could only vote for one party. I do see some good and bad candidates with both parties
