@KirstiMiller30 The best was to determine eligibility is to prevent males from participating. Female sports/spaces are for women only - not pharmacologically altered men.
@KirstiMiller30 Because Caster Semanya is a male. He has testicles and has fathered children.
"What we have here" is men. Nobody can change sex. It's woman's sport - not a 'person with certain testosterone levels' sport.
@daniellismore Fascinating.
If there is so much in the way of 'brain structure' and other such objective data supporting the presence of transgenderism obviously it is important to document the presence of these findings BEFORE starting on a path of lifelong drug and surgical intervention?
@Mycroft_Smart1 Nope. There is sex - which is binary and immutable, and there is gender - which is a totally subjective opinion about ones self that has no scientific meaning whatsoever. The terms may have been used interchangeably in the past but they certainly are not the same thing today.
@melboure@ljj58@panvalues@anon_gencrit@Glinner I love how imbeciles think there is some type of biological basis for this and constantly refer to brains scans and the like. I'm a radiologist. There is no such imaging or any other objective medical criteria for 'gender'. It's just a made up concept.
@KirstiMiller30 How can you write SO MUCH while still completely missing the point. It's absolutely moronic.
Women's sports are for women only. Since every single 'trans woman' is a man, they don't qualify. This position is shared by roughly 90% of the population.
@Twosidesofacoin@LGBwiththeT It is simple - just not the way you imagine. The single unifying characteristic of every 'trans' woman is that they are male. It's the only prerequisite.
@LGBwiththeT@WraggCornelius Yes and nothing screams "I'm making a logical argument" like pointing out a spelling error in a tweet. JKR drives you people nuts because everything she says is transparently obvious and her positions are overwhelmingly popular.
@LGBwiththeT The term 'trans' is the most perfect example of an idiom you could imagine. The only unifying characteristic of trans woman is that they are all men.
@actingliketommy@OG_Vault It COULD be - but it's not.
Just total morons making your arguments.
Women's sports are for women only. No men, no matter what. All trans women are men, it's their only unifying characteristic.
@actingliketommy That is YOUR entire argument, however it is false.
The argument is that no men should be allowed in women's sports or spaces. That means no men at all, regardless of what drugs or surgeries they undergo.
THIS argument is a 90/10 issue - electoral suicide for morons.
@CloverSevenLeaf Are you people really this dumb? How can you make such stupid arguments over and over again. JKR is exactly right. Literally the ONLY characteristic shared by every single trans woman is that they are male.
@GBBranstetter Your argument is bunk. Women's sports are for women. Nobody changes sex regardless of how thoroughly they mutilate themselves. That means no men allowed. It's not a 'no testosterone' team, it's a girls team.
@InspiredByJM If you aren't bothered you are free to compete in co-ed sports. Some women are bothered by men in their leagues and private spaces. Your opinion does not negate that fact nor can you consent on behalf of other women for their sex based rights to be eradicated.
@Shapalicious There is literally only one thing that is a common trait among all trans women - they are men. There is no other unifying characteristic.
