@LostPetDrone@BGatesIsaPyscho It's because there are dark unlit trails where people can fall off the cliff and die, ha. So they make sure no one is out there once it is dark.
@Goatthingssss@JadedOilersFan@MUngarian@Lowetide Yea, I think he can file a grievance if a team is preventing him from working again. Not sure where that would go. Perhaps he agrees to terminate the last year of his deal (rumored to be $5 million) if he gets a whisper from a team that woll guarantee he will get that much again.
@Goatthingssss@JadedOilersFan@MUngarian@Lowetide The coaches have a union or association similar to the players. They can file a grievance against a team for not letting a coach move on after you've fired them. Sure, he has a contract, but pretending like what Vegas is doing is standard practice is wrong.
@DurstofTimes@cmasisak22 I feel like voters often lean to the "this player led their team to be the best in the NHL, therefore he is most valuable" narrative. Right or wrong. I feel like MacKinnon will win.
@dantencer I can almost guarantee tomorrow they will put out something to the effect of "the call on the ice didnt matter, we had definitive evidence (somewhere) that it crossed the line and would have called it that way regardless of call on the ice".
@ConnorHalley We all said, "Well, might have been Connor's worst playoff game and we still won". Unfortunately, he might be trying to match that one....
@ChrisConte79@frank_seravalli@SullyCanuck87 I mean, they've done it 2 years in a row. Avs, Wild, and Stars all look tough, but they might beat each other up. Vegas looks too old and slow to beat those teams. Oilers would need a healthy Leon and Connor to play their best.
@cmasisak22 Would have to clarify in the rulebook, but isn't a minor penalty resulting in injury basically upgraded to a 5? So, it seems like they had to call a major or nothing. I don't see how you can downgrade from 5 to 2 with the injury. Maybe no call at all was the right call.
