@GehMedEd @GEHNHSnews Well done, it's a great initiative to get people to look after themselves and others. It's amazing how refreshing a short break with lots of other people can be, having the potential for increasing individual mental wellbeing and collective productivity. πβ€οΈ
@laureng5783 We went caravanning as kids, went abroad as adults. Now mum(74) and I have returned to a 20yr old caravan and can afford 3 towing holidays in Britain again rather than 1 abroad every 18 months. Weekends away are cheaper too. Britain is beautiful, enjoy exploring it.
An inspiring SpDM Leadership Council meeting, with Councils from Nason, Theatres, & Pharmacy, & potential Council members from Victoria & CCU. Projects are linked to our Workforce & Quality Strategic Pillars & led by our frontline staff; patient care is our focus. @GEHNHSnews
@Sonia_Sparkles certainly reinforces my Shared professional Decision Making mantra of:
Fabulous Failures, Marvelous Mistakes, & Clever NEVER Events.
Improvement is: messy, takes time, needs checking & testing, never goes exactly to plan, but can always inform us.
@GEHNHSnews
If you want people to succeed & make improvements, you have to make failure, mistakes, testing, learning & exploration part of the normal working culture.
Success is a product of trying, give people freedom, confidence & empowerment to try things without fear of failure β
Work pressures have been particularly demanding over the recent weeks, and we know our SpDM Councils have struggled to meet or complete any project work. Remember each project step you manage, however small, is still an achievement.

@DocCSarah@Apelsinklyfta95@DrEilidhMaria I wonder if that's why I spent. 30ish years in Theatres, an altogether different relationship between us nurses, the ODPs and our Medic colleagues. It always felt more symbiotic.
