I spent a good part of the month of June studying the book of Luke and I learnt something powerful that could propel your pursuit for the knowledge of God.
For the longest time, I thought Jesus used parables simply to make His teachings easier to understand. 🧵
5 IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER TODAY:
1. Trust God’s plan, not yours. (Prov 3:5)
2. Speak life over your day. (Eph 4:29)
3. Worry less, pray much more. (Phil 4:6)
4. Walk boldly in your calling. (2 Tim 1:7)
5. Love others like Christ does. (John 13:
THE NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME
The Bible declares in Philippians that God has highly exalted Him and given Him a Name that is above every other name, that at the mention of the Name of Jesus, every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
This is not just a scripture to read — it is a reality to live by.
There is a Name that carries authority in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. That Name is Jesus Christ.
When you understand this, your life changes.
You stop living like a victim and start walking like someone backed by heaven.
You begin to normalize using the Name of Jesus in your daily life.
When fear comes — you don’t just panic, you speak: “In the Name of Jesus, I have peace.”
When sickness tries to attack your body — you don’t just accept it, you declare: “In the Name of Jesus, I am healed.”
When doors seem closed — you don’t give up, you command: “In the Name of Jesus, every door meant for me must open.”
This is not empty words.
This is spiritual authority.
The Name of Jesus is not a decoration for prayers — it is a weapon, a key, and a seal of authority.
Everything responds to this Name:
Situations bow
Demons tremble
Mountains move
Chains break
But many believers have not normalized using it.
We whisper when we should command.
We doubt when we should declare.
We stay silent when we should speak.
Listen — the power is not in how loud you shout, but in the authority behind the Name you use.
Jesus has already conquered:
Death
Satan
The grave
So when you speak His Name, you are enforcing a finished victory.
From today, make it your lifestyle: Use the Name of Jesus in your home.
Use the Name of Jesus in your prayers.
Use the Name of Jesus in your struggles.
Use the Name of Jesus in your victories.
Let it become natural to you.
Because the truth is this:
There is no situation too strong.
There is no problem too stubborn.
There is no darkness too deep…
At the mention of the Name of Jesus — EVERYTHING must bow.
Walk in that authority.
5 prayers to pray over your job
1. Prayer for Purpose and Alignment
Lord, order my steps in my work. Place me where my gifts, skills, and calling align with Your will. Let my job not just pay bills, but fulfill purpose.
Proverbs 16:9
"The gospel in four words is 'Jesus took my place;' in three words, it's 'Him for me;' in two words, it's 'substitutionary atonement;' in one word, it's 'grace'." -Charlie Kirk.
