I have often said it’s what shapiro doesn’t say that’s more important than what he says.

shapiro has been repeatedly called out by media outlets for his lack of transparency:

In addition to the more familiar, publicized secrets of the shapiro admin…

• sexual harassment payout
• home security upgrades
• undocumented use of PSP’s helicopter

There are many more, including:

🔴 A secret Climate Change Working Group operated for months before members/memo were released.

🔴 Election Law Advisory Board vacancies: Shapiro left seven seats (for which he is responsible) unfilled for an extended period 2023-2026

🔴 State Inspector General’s report on the Department of Aging / elder-abuse protective services

🔴 In short Gov. josh shapiro has drawn repeated criticism for reduced transparency compared with recent PA predecessors….

He declined to release his detailed daily calendar (unlike Tom Wolf), kept certain Inspector General reports confidential, left key commission seats vacant for years while his office declined to explain why, and taken other steps, such as nondisclosure agreements, limited donor disclosures, that have limited public insight into his admin’s operations and decision-making.
