There is a rumour circulating that there were only 50 #RealityRulesRunnersUK members participating at parkruns today. I'm happy to say that is complete nonsense. 240 is the current number, and there will likely be a few volunteers to add in from tomorrow's final report. 💪🥳

@AidanCTweets @HallisseyC @mara_yamauchi As of now, the parkrun app is saying there were 237 club members at 133 events today. That means 14% of locations had @RRRunnersUK representation - pretty good for a club which only came into existence 5 weeks ago!

Off to 2 different #parkrun for our first times as members of @RRRunnersUK today. He's off to a further away one so he can run home after (training for a 10k). I'm walking our local one. We both believe that women should have fair sport.

35 whole-time-equivalent nurses
+ 12 ancillary staff

And that is before adding the doctors needed to provide the medical care.

£2m represents a substantial frontline workforce caring for patients 24 hours a day.
