Think about it for a moment. We always hear about negative encounters, but the number of times nothing happens is a credit to a sharks ability to identify what’s prey and what isn’t.
EMPTY LEDGES. First visit to North Sutor colony revealed the extreme impact bird flu, storms and rising sea temps have had on seabirds. Cormorants down by 36% to only 86 nests, shags by 60% to 60 nests and Guillemots down by a massive 83% on last year.
When you are too sleepy to slide slowly over the #seagrass it could be handy to hitch a ride on a passing crab, like this lazy Littorina!
Or perhaps this particular #crustacean really wants to be a #hermit and not a #common shore crab? 🦀🌊
Thought I would summarise why there is so much excitement in the space weather community right now. There’s a monstrous sunspot group on the Sun that’s massive enough to be visible to the naked eye (please use eclipse glasses) 🌞 👓 (1/n)
