Authorities in Spokane, Washington, have arrested 37-year-old Aaron Farinacci, who investigators say intentionally started the Old Trails Fire, the largest wildfire in the region.

The fire has destroyed homes, forced thousands of people to evacuate, and left entire neighborhoods in ruins within Spokane city limits.

Farinacci, who has a previous manslaughter conviction in Arizona, is charged with first-degree arson and is being held on $1 million bond. | @SarahEalegre
