I am so proud of all my colleagues from all backgrounds, all countries and all faiths who work day in day out to run our NHS.
We stand united against Fascism!
Hope not hate 💙
RT if you agree.
I am immensely proud that the NHS I work in is one of the most multi-ethnic and diverse organisations in the world.
NHS colleagues and emergency workers from many countries and faiths work around the clock to serve every UK community. You have my utmost appreciation and respect.
For many NHS staff, the recent racist violence in this country will leave them feeling afraid and unwelcome. To those colleagues, our message is simple: you are welcome and you are valuable members of our community. Reach out for support if you need it.

NHS staff across the country are, as always, playing their part in response to this week's riots.
But we shouldn’t let dedication to duty disguise the fact that seeing this flare-up of racism will leave many colleagues feeling afraid and unwelcome.

#FierceCuriosity
Our society has done cruel things to people, to children, in the past. #Denial protected them from acknowledging that. If we can look at that, we have a better chance of seeing the cruelties we are inflicting today.
We are aware that some registrants have received automated calls regarding supposed HCPC investigations, and been asked to contact a specified number.
We can confirm that this is vishing scam and that we don't contact registrants in this way!

In health & care, we often focus on a narrow concept of improving "staff experience", when we could be building a much deeper & more profound basis of human connection at work: a sense of belonging. Belonging is when an employee, regardless of their background or role, knows that their voice matters, that their unique experiences enrich the team & that they're not just seen, but understood. Organisations that build a sense of belonging have higher levels of engagement, retention & performance: https://t.co/DNGs6moS0B By @hacking_hr
What a fantastic resource for healthcare professionals interacting with people with #ACHD
So many of the principles are applicable to all people with #CVD
Thank for you the development of this statement @ISACHD
Sometimes this work is thorny, tiring, & overwhelming. Holding, containing, naming, absorbing, marinating & more. But then have some fizz in-sync moments which are amazing to anchor onto.

@SPFT_NHS What a privilege to be a finalist at the positive practice awards #PPA23 in recognition of the work we have been doing to increase trauma informed care for our staff and service users. Couldn’t do it without you @nickdgrey@Louise_Patmore@Seaby39 @SarahCerioli @GemmaEke1 & Vikki
We so often think of trauma as being a distressing event. But very often #trauma is inaccessible to explicit memory. It impacts us in deep, hidden places: in implicit memory; it manifests in our behaviour.
