One of the Best Parts of Being an Army Dependent Was My Education
As an Army child, I spent the entirety of High School going to a DoDEA (Department of Defense Education Activity) school. The level of education that I received compared to my civilian peers was unmatched.
The Defense Department estimates that it spends about $25,000 per student, on par with the highest-spending states. Teachers are also well paid, supported by a Pentagon budget that allocates $3 billion to its schools each year, far more than comparably sized school districts.
I loved my school. Small classes and everyone was excited to make new friends as their parents were constantly moving due to work.

Cheers to many more years of keeping our country safe in the air, on land, and at sea, because we believe that there is no substitute for presence and for people.

#Giants QB Daniel Jones gifted HC Brian Daboll a brand new tablet at practice this morning, as a prank/callback to Daboll throwing one at him on MNF.
Everyone laughed, really cool moment.
Great read from the @TheAtlantic.
