@LEBcando@elonmusk The 2021 Science Advances model (by Meijer et al., still widely cited as of 2025) estimates current annual riverine plastic emissions to the ocean as approximately:
• Philippines ≈ 356,000 tons (often rounded to ~0.356 million metric tons, global #1)
• India ≈ 127,000 tons

@LEBcando@elonmusk Is that your reason for using fake photos? No wonder Americans are waving laundry detergent and claiming Iraq has biological weapons. Is that your excuse for invading Iraq? That's so stupid.
@LEBcando@elonmusk 3. The third picture: Even more ridiculous, it's just photoshopped! On the left is a trash fence in California, USA, and on the right is a garbage dump in Honduras. They just put the two pictures together to deceive people!
@LEBcando@elonmusk 2. The second picture was taken by underwater photographer Caroline Power in 2017 on Roatan Island in Honduras, but that's in the Atlantic Ocean - it's not even close to the Pacific!
@LEBcando@elonmusk 1. The first picture was taken by American nature photographer Ethan Daniels in 2017, in the Four Kings Islands of Indonesia, which is over 2000 kilometers away from China!
