@EngineerLondon @Jordmoran5 After that - depending on how automation operates the control engineer can step in & determine the cct affected by high amp alarms received and restore around. Obviously not all customers can be restored due the location of the fault until engineers arrive
@EngineerLondon @Jordmoran5 Pretty much what you’ve said - we aim to for protection to be fast acting & discriminatory.
In a fault situation the circuit breaker (CB) on cct affected should clear and blocks transformer CB from operating - if it doesn’t within set parameters it allows the TX CB to clear.
