@Bubblejet @CtgIntelligence @Channel4News I heard they were about 1/2 a mile away from nearly meeting now too which causes a bigger concern in itself. What worries me is the fact its starting to burn closer and closer to my home now. This was 3 days ago. Cant take a video now as cant see the hill its so smokey!

It was horrendous this morning. The clouds now keeping the smoke encased in.

Wind also feels calmer so its settling with deep smoke. I hardly see much coverage of either! Unless its socials

@Bubblejet @CtgIntelligence @Channel4News The dovestones fire has devastated the area and that court date in August cant come soon enough. There is a seperate fire at Tintwistle though as below ( dovestones on the right ) this is continuing choking everyone. Been going for 3 weeks now

Though, the large amount of smoke is actually from an unrelated fire on the other side of the hill at Tintwistle- not dovestones. Been burning for nearly 3 weeks now

@keengrower @CVB1866 Tintwistle doesnt have a cause yet, they claimed it was wild fire nearly 3 weeks ago.

People now confused this fire with the dovestone firework idiots but they are both seperate - though close to merging ive heard

One was the silly idiots with fireworks - the other - much larger one - has been going near 3 weeks now and not letting up. Been a horrid time!

Another video and satelite images ( not mine ) to show that manchester and onwards is under smoke due to a large fire at Tintwistle not dovestones. The dovestones kids deserve punishing for the significant fire they caused but shouldnt be getting the blame for both.

@DavidPlatt14 Dovestones one isnt really blowing over that way, but tintwistile is hammering manchester area! Seems to be sinking right over. Normally can see town from here but its just smoke

Keep seeing news outlets state manchester is covered in smoke due to “dovestones fire”

Throw the book at the kids for the fireworks and the subsequent fire 100%

But Manchester is under smog due to Tintwistle which has burnt for near 2 weeks now.

@CVB1866 Tintwistle died down a bit, then went up again recently, this is the one spewing smoke over to town. The dovestone one whilst still bad, is much smaller
