@atlasliddell You’re absolutely right. I keep saying there should be a serious case study of Nathan McCree’s score, which shaped the game’s atmosphere as much as the visuals did. But if what we heard here is for another moment, I’m ok with that. It’s common for themes to have variants
@MightyCroft Hey I like that catchy title! “The Legend Trilogy”. Anyway, if this happens (which I don’t think it could on time), don’t expect anything more than 4K/60fps. The visuals are fine as they are. Options for ps2/next-gen graphics + all exclusives is enough. & surround sound!
@LexusBledel@mario4thenorth …. And the world isn’t entirely black and white. What’s your point? The fact you’re a teacher that can’t grasp something basic as that makes me wonder if you really are a teacher .
@JesuisJanice@PlayTombRaider@amazongames Until then (and no matter what), approach with civil respect. Anyone who requests these dubs in ill manner are only undoing what should be featured. Wishing you guys the best …
@TheToadKing@crashoveride953@discotekmedia I’m asking cause historically, that wasn’t the case for Digimon Adventure 01 and 02 (Japanese), originally mixed. Discotek’s Blu-Ray version was a 1080p24 with mismatched field rate. Tbh I’m ok with the 24 cause I hate smooth 60fps moments lol. Just curious for Monster
@NateTheCroft@tombraider@CrystalDynamics Only way for that to happen is to literally make a version that works on ps4/5. PS console wise, Underworld is stuck in ps3 prison, like Metal Gear Solid 4 was. That’s why it’s a missed opportunity they didn’t release a remastered collection of LAU. No graphic changes needed
@playeroldskool Could be, could be not. While I appreciate the feedback, it’s weird it’s done in such a manner. But who knows, maybe they’re getting it from both internal QA and fans? The animation with climbing and ESPECIALLY the swan dive needs work. No Tomb Raiders after V / VI got it right
@crashoveride953@discotekmedia The show was originally in mixed frame rate, as they said. And it’s true. The only way to present that would be to have it in 1080i, not 1080p.
@LaraCroftsSoul@tombraider No they’re not lol. It just means all the stories will be retrofitted / remade into the survivor timeline this time, just as Legacy of Atlantis will be - which is STILL a good thing.
@meneerbirb@JesuisJanice No they need to take inspiration from the 1996 original. It is effectively timeless and remains superior than any TR games after it to date. 2007’s Anniversary’s mistake was ditching pieces like this for generic hollwood scores https://t.co/kLu3DdVCvx
@JesuisJanice I pray to God @Flying_Wild_Hog and @CrystalDynamics doesn’t ignore its original musical identity @tombraider was known for since 1996. The score from that game is as timeless as any musical piece / TR games that came after it. They need to go back to that as their reference..
@JesuisJanice This is the aspect I’m most worried about. Tomb Raider 1996 / Nathan McCree soundtrack was largely disrespected when Anniversary ditched cues like “A Friend Since Gone”, “Time to Run”, “Longing for Home”, all of which shaped the atmosphere of appreciating what Lara uncovers
