@simcax @ondat_io @SideroLabs The default policy is pretty restrictive _and_ it is the new kubernetes pod security admission system, which isn't yet very well known. It's simpler and more simple than the old PSP method, though.

@errordeveloper @SideroLabs I brought this up, too, and we've thought of various cutesy workaround, such as only running the mock SSH when testing (think VW Dieselgate scandal) or even redirecting port 22 to one of those open honeypot SSH services... but any of that would then be in production -> BAD.
@CloudFox8008 @SideroLabs We've been doing exactly that for three months. This post follows a rejection notice from them along the lines of we have to show a million dollars of revenue from the marketplace before we can be approved to be on... the marketplace. 🙃
@usrbinkat@kelseyhightower I take your point, but i still hate that connector. It always has at least one bad connection. It loves to develop tiny fractures in its connection to the board. It is an ingress point for junk. I think people also accept substandard interfaces due to familiarity alone.
This is a not a blog from anyone at Sidero - just a happy #TalosLinux user blogging about how to get #Kubernetes up easily and securely.
And his blog is running on a Kubernetes cluster on Talos Linux on Raspberry Pi!

Before I go down the route of job ads... anyone know of a UK based experienced Node.js/Javascript dev looking for a new challenge? Ideally with some WebRTC experience but that could be taught. Looking for more help with @BroadcasterVC @nimbleapeltd and @commconuk
Successfully migrated over to @SideroLabs Talos Linux from #K3s Kubernetes over the weekend. LONG write up in the works, but all in all this is SUPER snappy and very impressive.
What an awesome project.
Want to run Kubernetes at home? Not sure what to do with it once you do? Join us today at 9 AM PST as @andrewrynhard chats with a group of #TalosLinux users sharing their setups!

Tried #Talos from @SideroLabs yesterday on one of my Raspberry Pi's that I use as a Homelab and this thing is truly remarkable. I don't think I ever saw a distro so good for bare metal Kubernetes. I will play around a bit more when I have some more time.
