It’s West Ham’s first European knockout game in 41 years at home tomorrow night.
That’s no coincidence.
If there’s one man that can take us all the way, it’s this guy. #41
I've been sounding this horn for weeks: The rhetoric has been deranged, conspiratorial, and dangerous for awhile now. We just haven't been paying attention.
Governments are not restricting my freedoms and rights. Governments are protecting my health to the best of their ability, and enabling me as much as is humanly possible to avoid harming others. That's from a retired political reporter, lifelong cynic and skeptic of government
Honteux.

And for folks who have insisted that Pat King isn't involved with the group: He's *still* listed as an organizer on their official page, he has a "Canada Unity" email address, and he's leading a number of trucks. He's a whole faction of this thing.
The only politicians I've spotted thus far are anti-vax MPP Randy Hillier and far-right People's Party leader Maxime Bernier.
Judging by his reception, and some of the tshirts/toques/signs I've seen: This is very much Bernier's crowd.
So I've found the spot where the main rally is supposed to take place. They've got coffee, tea, some tents and whatnot and....one speaker, turned to the max, blaring Lose Yourself by Eminem. Aside from some organizers, it's totally empty.
@Justin_Ling Watching this unfold and seeing how MANY people in Canada either actively support white nationalism and NeoNazis sickens me.
It’s even worse to see how many seem to be standing by and allow this to happen.
Please excuse me.
I need to go throw up.

Details about this planned "blockade" have been hazy thus far. (Some organizers insisted it would surround the whole city and/or the U.S. border.)
In this video, from Jan 22, Pat King says they won't disrupt supply chains (that's "later") but they will target politicians homes.
James Bauder, the founder of Canada Unity and the architect of the "trucker" convoy to Ottawa, has said Trudeau “needs too[sic] be arrested and charged for treason, and for participating in committing crimes against humanity.”

Jason LaFace, who was linked to far-right group Soldiers of Odin, is listed as the Northern Ontario organizer. Here he is rejecting the idea this is *just* about vaccine mandates.
