Destin Daniel Cretton reveals that Tom Holland improvised the line for Peter visiting Aunt May's grave in ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’.
“As soon as he said, ‘You’d be happy to know that I’ve decided I’m not going to do this alone anymore,’ that statement became the north star of the entire movie.”

@1998Wens I didn’t read the initial commenter’s words in that way. I think helping her home is the right thing but that doesn’t mean that doing the right thing was painless.
@ShaqMaadWolf@PaulTassi I think the general public eye Spider-man is the bigger character. The comics at Marvel are not good and DC is certainly better at the moment. I love The Batman. That movie is top 3 for me. But part 2 will not outsell Brand New Day
‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’ officially had the biggest domestic opening weekend OF ALL TIME.
The film actually earned $360M, beating ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
@lovingpetermj Its literally alluding to him appearing in battleworld in the future if there needs to be an expansion it would be Peter 1’s attempt at letting Ned & MJ know where he is
@empatheticcain Not the homages but to its credit there was a ton of hype around Ultimate Spider-man when it came out. Those were some hot comics. Praying for that new EIC at Marvel to cook. Idk what they were thinking ending the Ultimate universe
I think my favorite scene in the movie was when Peter innocently told MJ that it was the most fun time he'd had years later after only a few minutes of chatting with Ned while building Lego together.
I think it was a small and sweet truth about living an isolated and introverted life. Even if it was only a tiny moment it personally touched me the most and my heart melted in the cinema
Tom Holland says the message that he hopes people take away from watching ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’.
“You’re never truly alone. Sometimes in life the bravest thing you can do is ask for help.”
