This quote isn’t as neat and tidy as the ones I usually see on this day. No one’s putting it on a t-shirt. It’s heavy. It has made me uncomfortable, maybe even a bit defensive. But it has stayed with me, so it’s the one I’m going to share. #MLKDay
@TheLastWord "If the way you say things is so inflammatory that people can't hear your message it's not helpful..."
Trump's message was more inflammatory and hateful than the specific word he used to describe those countries. Don't let the curse word hide that fact @SecretaryCarson
The GOP is lost and can no longer hold a respected position in the defense of this Nation’s values. They have sided with unspeakable hate and division. Democrats must no longer participate in any way with this current assault on The Shining City.
@TIME No one is showering to keep from getting sick. We shower every day because if you don't you get a reputation at work for being the smelly one. Come on @Time, you know this.
@SarahLovesTx2 @CBSNews @adrianasdiaz That site just states that DACA recipients are eligible for the same privately funded scholarships and aid as everyone else. And it explicitly states they are NOT eligible for federally funded financial aid. Nothing about free college. Quit being obtuse.
@Edrouant@CBSNews @adrianasdiaz What? That is a deeply flawed understanding of how statistics works. But let’s be honest, your opposition to DACA has nothing to do with graduation rates so let’s cut the BS.
@Edrouant@CBSNews @adrianasdiaz According to that same study: 31% still in high school, 20% currently in college. And of the age group that DACA recipients are in (15-32) only 18% of Americans have completed a bachelors degree. Don’t cherrypick your stats.
