#psychmachina Although Ava is a robot she seems to have the same basic emotions a human is born with. When she is happy that she escaped she smiles. Nathan programmed in these basic emotions and facial expressions so she can relate to other humans.

#Psychmachina Caleb is in denial that he likes Ava romantically because she is a robot and that wouldn't be socially acceptable. This defense mechanism makes the situation okay for him.

#Psychmachina Nathan has been acting as a social master for Caleb so far. Caleb would rather talk about how the machine works but he wants to fit in with Nathan so he agrees to have a beer with him. His whole stay so far has been dictated by what Nathan wants to do.

Reflecting back on the course, my attitude towards using twitter as an educational tool has completely changed. I enjoyed participating via twitter and even "live tweeting" the class lecture. I think that helped me learn a lot more than I would have without Twitter. #DigiTech296

In many of my other classes professors claim that technology is actually taking away from in person relationships, but this class changed my thoughts on that.
