Reform want you to sign a petition to stop the support of Ukrainian refugees.
Think about that... the party that was once led by a man compromised by Russia wants you to stop supporting Ukrainians.
Why is that?
@rebekkarnold Declining numbers of cattle being produced in the UK, heavily influenced by governments agriculture policies. Less people farming, less supply results in increased price.
Minimum wage in 2005 was £5.05 and a Freddo was 10p. Meaning that one hour of work got you 50 Freddos.
Fast forward to 2025, minimum wage is £12.21 and a Freddo is 35p. Now one hour of work will only get you 34 of them.
That's a 142% rise in pay but a 250% rise in frog shaped chocolate bars.
If wages had kept up with the price Freddos, the minimum wage would be £17.50 an hour.
The economy’s in shambles and yes I’m measuring it in chocolate frogs. But this post is about more than that. Too many people are working full time and struggling to survive because absolutely everything is increasing faster than wages.
Something needs to change.
Just to be clear on what’s happening here:
The Welsh ruling elite have gathered in Llandudno, many of them having had all their expenses covered, and spent last night raving as if they’re doing a great job.
Whilst hundreds of thousands of Welsh people are rotting on NHS waiting lists, worrying about the future of their PIP payments and are continuing to make painful financial decisions to get by.
What have they got to celebrate? The Labour Welsh government is failing in almost every field they have control over.
I might be a killjoy but to rave like this is arrogant, out-of-touch and insulting. If they were doing a good job, that’s fine, but they’re not.
Wales is a disaster zone, and our leaders are raving and will spend the rest of the weekend telling each other that they’re doing a brilliant job and how dangerous it would be if the Welsh people were to, God forbid, vote for anyone else.
@MavisDavi4949@20NPHartleyHare Is there any proof of this? I’m not a Drakeford fan at all. Just I’ve heard a lot of rumours about it and was wondering if there’s any more info.

I wonder how many more trees, wind turbines and pylons will the climate change committee recommend to cover Welsh hillsides to offset the expansion of Heathrow 3rd runway? is this what's behind family farm tax by forcing farming families to sell up + bypassing local opposition
Keir Starmer has just admitted on a tweet that he is now in partnership with Blackrock.
