BREAKING: Scott Pelley Just Made A Pretty Stunning Allegation.

According to Pelley, CBS leadership wanted a story about the killing of ICE protester Renée Good changed to better match Trump's version of events.

Pelley says he was told management wanted protesters portrayed as more violent and wanted Good described as driving toward the officer who shot her. He says the video evidence showed otherwise.

Then came the admission.

"There was a thumb on the scale for the president's version of events."

A veteran journalist with 37 years at CBS is alleging political pressure was applied to change the facts of a story.

That's a remarkable accusation.

Did you know the TV show “To Catch a Predator” was cancelled because they kept catching law enforcement, teachers, preachers, local officials, and other people who were supposed to protect children?

The final straw? An Assistant District Attorney in Texas was courting who he thought was a 13-year-old boy. He didn’t show for the sting, so they sent law enforcement and the camera crew to his home. The police entered, and Louis Conradt shot himself, taking his own life.

One of the few preoccupations that takes up space in the president’s demented brain is medals, and why he hasn’t gotten all of them.

He constantly talks about the Medal of Honor and how he thinks he deserves one, despite having never served in the military and even lied his way out of service as a young man.

His obsession with the medal came up again today during a campaign stop, where he fondly remembered the time he bribed evil billionaire Miriam Adelson with the Presidential Medal of Freedom as a reward for helping him hoodwink the American people into voting for him.

“I have to say, Miriam, I watched Sheldon sitting so proud in the White House when we gave Miriam the Presidential Medal of Freedom. That's the highest award you can get as a civilian. It's the equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor, but a civilian version.”

You already know where this is going.

“It's actually much better because everyone gets the Congressional Medal of Honor. That's soldiers. They're either in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets or they're dead. She gets it and she's a healthy, beautiful woman. They're rated equal.”

It is absolutely disgusting to see him compare the men and women who sacrificed life and limb in service to this country to an Israeli woman who spent millions of dollars helping a literal traitor win election and tear this country to shreds.

They are in no way shape or form “equal” and it is appalling that the thought might even cross his mind, let alone be vocalized.

But we all know Trump doesn’t give a sh*t about our troops, and he especially hates troops who have been wounded or killed – suckers and losers.

For him to say this stuff on Memorial Day of all days is just another kick in the teeth for those who have given so much for this country.
