@StephenM I don't think they are obscure reasons. Our 2nd Amendment RIGHT is not an obscure reason. We were sold on "no tax on tips" and "no tax on overtime." Not a halfass token of those promises. People that have never voted Republican in their life were swayed by these promises.

@SteveScalise Why is it so hard for Republicans to cut spending for people that don't deserve it. The Medicaid cuts need to happen and our seniors should not be taxed on their SS.

@SteveScalise We want the original language for both the HPA and Short Act in the bill. Removing the tax because you think that will pacify us is completely wrong thinking. There is no reason that there should be a tax OR registry on these items for law abiding citizens.
