- The NHL, with the benefit of a private investigation, suspends Carter Hart and the other accused beyond their acquittal for a total of 22 months. The NHLPA does not appeal the historic suspension.

- Hockey Canada, with the benefit of a private investigation, rewards EM a 7-figure settlement and still prohibits any players charged from representing Team Canada.

- Former Defence Attorney Maria Carroccia, WITHOUT the critical evidence uncovered in the above private investigations, dismisses the charges.

Simply put: Those with the full story punished Hart. Those without did not.

All while drafting Alex Sarr, Keyonte George, and Tre Johnson while making these moves
