BREAKING: The NBA has ruled on the Los Angeles Clippers in for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard after yearlong probe -- stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker, sources tell ESPN.

Kawhi Leonard will have to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits by the Clippers for his uncle and former business rep, Dennis Robertson. No contract void or suspension for Leonard. And Robertson -- who was fired by Leonard in June -- is being banned by the NBA from all business dealings.

@DNVR_Nuggets @nbaunitracker Black trim on these? I hope so—much better than the navy trim. The Nuggets should have both white/black and black/white versions of this jersey as part of their rotation each year. These are so much better than the home white jerseys.

Denver is now about $3M over the 2nd apron (incl. incentives) with 14 roster spots filled (excl. Lonnie Walker).

Due to incentives, they’d likely finish the season under the 2nd apron as things stand.

Remaining things to watch:

- Cam Johnson extension?
- Fill 15th roster spot?

I think Malone/Adelman have done too much gatekeeping with minutes, but I want development and exploration. I want to see a lot more depth being used throughout the year and then to let the data tell us what combinations work best.

But I want to see the Nuggets trading from a position of strength by first seeing how players like Nnaji and Strawther play with a real role.

@Adam_Mares @rxmart2 I agree with you on not waiting until the deadline, Adam. That’s why I hope the Nuggets start the season out with a commitment to really exploring what they have here with the second unit. Other teams have defensive specialists—I have long believed Zeke can fill that role. 🔒

@deLaNuggLife I very much believe in Spencer playing backup SF minutes. I don’t ever want to see him as a small ball PF though. I’m ready to see more players playing in the rotation in roles that fit their skills. Spencer is one of those players for me.
