@bruhgiyy@esjesjesj If a spin-off of Event Horizon was announced under that idea, I highly doubt anyone would care if the protagonist was male or not. Just as no one got into a tizzy when Gears of War 4 revealed Marcus Fenix's son as the protagonist.
This is childish nonsense.
I remember in first year film school being shown Scorsese's storyboards for Taxi Driver as an example of what you can accomplish with storyboards even when you can't draw.
This decision is just so antithetical to the process of translating an image from one's mind to frame.
Martin Scorsese is backing an AI company to βpush the bounds of creativity to create deeper and richer experiences for audiences.β He is using the technology for storyboarding purposes.
"Iβm interested in the intersection of technology and storytelling, and seeing how that can push the bounds of creativity to create deeper and richer experiences for audiences. Cinema is a young medium, only around 125 years old, so we have to be open to how it can evolve. I utilized 3D with βHugoβ and de-aging technology for βThe Irishman.β Now, with this tool, I can share what Iβm visualizing more clearly and efficiently to my creative team β the production designer, art designer, and cinematographer β for them to build on to enrich cinematic intelligence."

@OldTVReference@Srirachachau "Niles, did you see? There's an academy opening up back east for delinquent mutants,"
"Strange, I didn't know Roz was opening a school."
@ChrisBataluk@secretsqrl123@ScottPresler "God's parental tenderness can also be expressed by the image of motherhood... We ought therefore to recall that God transcends the human distinctions between the sexes. He is neither man nor woman: he is God." - Catechism of the Catholic Church
Hamish Linklater is great in Widow's Bay, but the best part is his turn from being a pretty straightforward, dour character to one who could easily step onto the set of What We Do in the Shadows.
@cosmepolitics This reminds me of something in Jon Lee Anderson's biography on Che, from when he was visiting other countries as a Cuban government official and a beautiful woman was hitting on him, to which he had to tell his bodyguard "Get me out of here before I cheat on my wife."
@poe_collector I took a swing at it last year but was a little put off by the Chase and Molly relationship (just read a little too much like the "male author writing about sex DEFINITELY has had sex before" stereotype), should I push forward regardless?
