Still can't get over the fact that Minnesota, golden state and others looking for another star aren't calling for Jaylen brown. They call for Derrick, but not Jaylen lol. How ass
“So I’ve had this theory on the Celtics Jayson Tatum. He’s not fundamental to their winning. Like Jalen Brunson is, or Jokic, or Steph Curry is to their teams”
“There are guys who are fundamental to winning, and then there are guys who are just talented”
Effectively the Celtics would get him minutes at the 5, and play 4 out. Giving Giannis the power to have either a one on one matchup downhill, or force help, which opens up the 3 point shot - plus a Giannis/Tatum pick and roll would be lethal
The Boston Celtics rely on the 3-point shot more than any other NBA team. Giannis Antetokounmpo has a career shooting percentage of 28.5% from 3. Doesn't feel like an ideal match.
@Tatumburneracct@Leeo_da_vin Brother the Celtics were only the favorites to win the title in 24 and 25- which they won in 24. No one has repeated since Warriors who had 4 all stars lol.
Who do you want to do coach the team then? Cause you’re just spewing nonsense
Forecasting ahead here, but JB will be traded for Trey Murphy who will develop into a bigger star in Boston than Jaylen Brown ever did. U can take that to the 🏦
IF the Pelicans aggressively pursue Jaylen Brown, the blueprint for their blockbuster trade offer would center directly around the following, per @ScoopB
- Dejounte Murray
- Trey Murphy III
- Significant draft capital

How about Tatum and White to the Cavs for Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen and 3 future unprotected 1st round picks.
This trade saves the Celtics about $16 million.
