We're all just trying to see a few more sunsets.
Honestly, trading takes a lot of risk. Taking risk is what got me to where I am today. Sometimes I feel like I make a lot of mistakes, but when I see the opportunity, I go for it. Last month, I was planning on not trading. I saw AMC & GME go off and I had almost no money in my trading accounts. I was planning to not trade much and close on a house end of month. I wired in $270k to my account with money I was going to use to buy the house. I took it to $650k the next day then I blew it all the way back to $30k by end of week. 3 days. Luckily I made money on my other accounts and only finished the month down $15k, but dang sometimes you just feel so dumb.
Was going through my old external hard drive and stumbled upon my trading journal from 2017.
Pretty fuckin cool to look back on this now and see just how far I've come. I wish I could go back and tell that scared, self-conscious 20 year old that everything was going to work out alright in the end.
