Directing the Sanjay & Craig pilot was a blast to work on, what 10 YEARS AGO?? damn!

During development we had the good fortune to team up with @SeanSzeles who directed and storyboarded our pilot. The pilot was later reworked into "Kung-Fu Catapult" which is one of my favorite episodes. Here's a few original boards from the pilot.

I'm glad people still remember this ep. Simply put, story team wrote an ep about a rap battle. I said we should get Donald & Tyler cause I liked them. It was 2011, Goblin just came out. We had an idea they were both fans of animation. We had Pen Ward reach out to T on twitter.

I wrote & made demos of the verses & they recorded them separately after we did all the dialogue. Originally in AlphaDog's verse to Mordecai it was "words like turds again" as you can see below. But S&P wouldn't allow that, so I changed it to "words absurd again" which works well
