Futures Traders using a Mac. ATAS X has officially taken the crown for best platform in my opinion. Claude has been able to code custom indicators for me and it works super smoothly. Plus the chart trading works great. Highly recommend. Built in copier if you are trading multiple prop firms and personal account.

@nuttybartrading Would consider it if it remains static after a payout. Otherwise it isn’t worth it to me if your drawdown goes to $100 after taking a payout.

@jmutrades I tried them out cause their instant accounts were a screaming deal. Got a couple of payouts and was smooth. But agree everyone needs to be careful with newer props and watch how much they are spending with firms.

I've been trialing ATAS X on my Mac and I must say I am about 100% convinced to make the switch permanently. Very smooth and stable. Claude was able to easily code my indicators for it. Check them out especially if you want to trade on your Mac.

Looks like I’m going live with Tradeify. I’m actually really excited for the opportunity. The only bummer is I didn’t hit a payout on 4 of my 5 funded accounts.

Those were closed/refunded even though I had the full $2K buffer and was getting closer. It is what it is, that was in the rules. (YES I HAVE RECEIVED PLENTY OF PREVIOUS PAYOUTS FROM OTHER ACCOUNTS)

Last year I had a strong run on the 150K accounts, then hit a dry spell and spent a good chunk of my profits chasing more payouts (trading like a moron). I’ve found my groove on the 50K accounts trading only MNQ with very small size. No complaints. I just wish I had waited to request a payout until all 5 were ready. Not posting to complain but share my journey with prop firms.

Plan for this live account: small size, no rush.

I love being able to trade with prop firms and I am going to keep building with other firms too.

Micros are such a good option for most people to trade with prop firms. I hope prop firms won't reward this type of behavior from an affiliate.

I use MotiveWave. I had Claude build me strategies for MotiveWave based on specific criteria that I believe will be profitable.

Then part of my site Claude built that criteria into a back testing section. I load the data from MotiveWave to see if over the past it is actually a good strategy. Even have a Montecarlo simulator to see my odds of passing an eval based on the strategy and contract size.

Make sure you push AI to not assume best case scenarios on back testing. The first few runs I did were way to optimistic and not real life. I have since adjusted the back testing to include commissions and slippage. So it is a little more pessimistic but I’d rather have results be better in live trades than worse.

Hey, so I started with prompts to have claude build me a customizable trading journal. It walked me through all of the steps on how to create the web site on cloud flare for free. I kept asking for further prompts on unique situations like the Topstep eligibility calculator. It wrote code to go off my payouts page to see when my last payout was and created that visual for me. It is super useful because of the 40% consistency rule.

You can just keep prompting claude until you get what you are looking for. I honestly have very limited knowledge of any of it before hand and I am super stoked with the site it built me.

I even have a built in strategy tester that I can test my setups on.

Also having odds of passing current Evals is a nice touch. Day 1 of new evals on Tradeify. Will see how this goes.

Built a custom futures trading journal with Claude.

Best feature: it tracks payout eligibility on my Topstep XFA — consistency %, qualifying days, and what a safe max day looks like.

I am running more testing. These results aren't realistic. I found a flaw in the way AI was performing the back testing. I believe it is still a profitable strategy just not nearly as profitable.
