@JohnnyT14869780 @gerrylum2 This is false accounting, buying for life actually made it an asset of the vehicle, meaning something that was inherently part of the vehicle like a high end sound system, or expensive wheels, etc,
And because it gets upgraded with software pushes, it doesn’t depreciate as much

He would have had to do so in a speculatory manner as Tesla does not operate any driverless vehicle at the time of this airing, they only announced plans with robotaxi (and while I am always confident Elon will succeed, I’m always hesitant on his projected timelines)
