@LoganRounds99 I agree completely, the hit was an unfortunate but natural football play. No problem with it whatsoever. His actions after, and IMO the lack of action by USC staff to calm him down or send him to the locker room, gave an appearance of lack of remorse. Which I found appalling
In ‘08 when UW fans started a “Go Huskies” chant during a moment of silence for a Duck player who died in the offseason I thought I had my #1 opp for life…but I gotta say everything about the Desman Stephens situation has me considering if USC can enter a 1A/1B type situation
@yawearesoback Umm exactly my point!! Who the fuck cares about the actions of one social media manager who’s probably a college kid working for school credit? Your players, fans, coaching staff and admin are who I’m attacking…that feels a tad more important
Dear USC family,
I challenge you to find a single Duck fan who complained about OkSU playing Shout moments after beating us. They beat us, we lost, it’s sports, this is what happens.
Take it on the chin, demand more of your team/coach and stop whining like a bunch of pussies
@wookiedu Featuring them so embarrassingly in the Ducks vs Them was perfect because it highlighted how cringe they are but also made it so they absolutely cannot fold and get rid of them
@JHopkinsSD Lanning repeatedly telling them to focus their energy between the whistles is such good fucking coaching. His ability to get 18-22 year olds to focus and block out distractions is genuinely superb
@ThunderCounty Posting the final score and complaining about Shout are not the same thing. Good attempt at making a point tho. My advice is next time try reading the tweet and replying to what it’s about
@yawearesoback Notice how you mention a media team and I cite the whole USC culture? I agree 100%, post the score, problem solved.
Are SC’s issues that easy fix? Care to address any of the substance of the topic or just point fingers? Content with ceding West Coast dominance to us?
@LoganRounds99 You’re entitled to your opinion, however the truth FOR ME is that Stephens actions made ME feel close to what I felt during that Husky game. It’s my subjective experience and reaction. If you yourself felt it was “disgusting”, imagine if it was your player seizing on the ground
@LoganRounds99 Fair enough you were at the game, I respect what you saw with your own eyes. Maybe because you were there you didn’t see the many images that were shown of Stephens laughing and celebrating. That incongruous image to a man suffering is what offends me. I stand by my comparison
@LoganRounds99 Find me a photo of “tons” of players taking a knee and explain the video of loud booing following the targeting call. Maiava was class.
Celebrating and laughing about a hit that left a player seizing on the field while the ambulance was still there is very comparable
@let10cook_ If you didn’t watch in real time that’s cool, but there was a palpable feeling Moore was paralyzed and USC institutionally didn’t take that seriously
@let10cook_ You must not have seen how the SC players celebrated and laughed with an ambulance on the field. Or heard how SC radio blamed Moore for not sliding earlier. Or how their crowd LOUDLY booed the hit being penalized despite watching replays and seeing our man spasm on the field
POV my replies after saying USC fans finger point and cling to the past:
-YOU LOST TO OK ST!!!!
-What’s your all time record against us pussy?
-Here’s our title from 22 years ago
-It was YOUR Super Bowl, we expected to lose
-Why does your coach go on tv shows?
-Grammar mistake
@RyanTrinit45182 Oh it happened, I was there. First and only time I saw my old man threaten to punch someone (we were in the section next to the Husky fans). So don’t worry yall ain’t that had yet, but don’t push it Lon
@RyanTrinit45182 Oh shit now you said similac I know you an old head! I’m not trying to fight bro, I didn’t compare death to what happened last week, I compared distasteful fan reactions. If you have something to say about that then cool, if not then let’s keep it moving
@CoachTonyBorden Hey respect man, honestly. I didn’t think we had any reason to beef to begin with. I’ll always fear the USC of my childhood. I hope you guys find a better coach soon and can return to your perch. Take it easy
