When Elon Musk was asked to rate how important money is to him from 0 to 10, he said:
“Maybe a 2.”
“The reason I guess I have what’s called wealth or really just shares in the companies, is that I’ve created these companies. Tesla has about 140,000 direct employees worldwide, and probably five times that number in the broader ecosystem, maybe almost a million jobs when you look at the whole supply chain that Tesla has created. And then SpaceX has about 15,000 people, and perhaps around 50,000 people when you include the full supply chain.
So, with the help of many talented people, I built these companies. The so-called wealth statistics simply add up what my ownership stake in those companies is worth. But I don’t actually have that in cash. I have it in stock. It’s really just that the companies have succeeded.”
Here’s my exclusive interview with Sandy Munro at the Tesla Takeover in Austria.
Completely unfiltered — we talk Tesla’s genius, why legacy auto is dying, mainstream media nonsense, Elon, Cybertruck, Cybercab and more. Then towards the end he drops the bombshell “I Sold My Company” 😱
One of his most open interviews yet. Have a watch 👇
The 2026 @Tesla Model 3 RWD is the most efficient EV that Edmunds has tested that is currently in production.
"Tesla's RWD Model 3 has an EPA range estimate of 363 miles, but our test car traveled 393 miles on a full charge. That's 30 miles farther than its official figure, or an 8.3% improvement. The more impressive figure is how little energy it used to get there. The EPA rates the Model 3 RWD at 25 kWh per 100 miles, or 4 miles per kWh. In our testing, it returned 21.7 kWh per 100 miles, or 4.61 mi/kWh, making it 13.2% more efficient than its EPA estimate.
The latest car feels quick, quiet and easy to drive, with responsive steering and useful cargo space. Our reviewers have also found the cabin to be better finished than before. Taken as a whole, the Model 3 RWD is an unusually efficient electric vehicle that is also nice to drive and easy to live with on a daily basis."

@TPAca@TheBikingLawyer Do you forcefully grab drivers out of the car and put them face in the ground for not fully stopping at residential streets intersections?
Never seen that for some reason.
Video of what appears to be TPS officers tackling & arresting a cyclist during a stop sign trap on the MGT.
Cyclist - "What did I do wrong?"
Cop - "You didn't stop."
If true, this is excessive use of force for a traffic stop.
Canadian Coast to Coast with Tesla FSD is done!
Myself, @DavidMoss and @scotsrule08 drove over 6,051km (3,760 miles) across Canada, through the Rockies, prairies, Canadian Shield, etc - all while using FSD.
Canada threw just about everything it had at us along the way… construction, animals on the road, poor weather, bad drivers, etc - and we still managed to pull it off.
This is a major milestone in autonomy and will hopefully help prove to people where we actually are today with regard to self-driving cars.
What a fun 5 days it’s been - I can’t believe how many people have shown up to support us along the way! The Tesla community is incredible.
