Happened to find this tucked into a shelf at my local game shop yesterday and decided to check it out. I’ve never delved into worker placement style games, but this was a fun little entry! Think I’ll check out their other entries, too!

Brought Desolate from @thegamecrafter back to the table for a bit. Succumbed to the aliens pretty quickly due to some not great dice rolls. This is such a fun and quick game though, and I don’t get it out nearly enough!

Solo play, chunky dice, and a changing landscape every game. Rolling Realms checks a lot of boxes and still travels so easy. I haven’t tried out the solitaire mini golf rules, but that’s only because of how much I enjoy the base game!

@teacher_carroll @Pandasaurusgame Have you tried Onitama? It’s chess-like but for people like me that do t have the attention span for chess 🤣. It’s also simple to teach. My 12 year old has gotten pretty good at it pretty fast.

Finally tabled Dinosaur Island by @pandasaurus_games and had a blast with it! I especially LOVE the chunky dice! (With a final score of 123, I’m skeptical I did everything correctly though).
