Brearley's ace struck out 13 batters and joined NJ's elite 300 career strikeout club in a section final win yesterday.

One of NJ's hottest pitchers has no earned runs over 16 innings with 39 strikeouts to four walks in three appearances through the state playoffs so far. The Bears are dangerous with him on the mound.

Brearley FINALLY gets over the hump to win first sectional title since 2009!

Ace lefthander @Sean_Budis struck out 12 in a complete game one-hit shutout and got plenty of support from his lineup in an 8-0 win over Verona to win the North 2 Group 1 title!
