When you claim to care about someone, often your behaviors can be sponsored by selfish intentions
You're out there trying to "make it," but someone close to you is still working a cushy job, spending weekends watching football, etc.
You mentally judge them for not taking their future into their own hands. You think if they were to just act more like you, they'd end up being "better" than who they are right now
While it's not your life, you sometimes catch yourself feeling angry, which is an interesting reaction. Typically, this emotion only really comes up in the context of communication when you can't get what you want. But inversely, to truly care is to actually help someone get what they want
Perhaps their laziness reminds you of who you used to be, or who you still believe you are. You're still insecure about your capacity to be lazy, so you try to change them to give you the peace of mind you want
Or maybe part of you still wishes you could be carefree. Sometimes, you're not as confident in your success, so another person living with less stress triggers this fear that you may have made the wrong decision. You want to change them so they can give you the reassurance you want
The list of potential justifications go on. It's the same as a hustler talking down on a normie, a trad denigrating a playboy, a dropout telling you that college is useless. On the surface, it's framed as a desire to "help" someone live the "right" way, but in reality it can be an attempt to cope for one's own lack of conviction in who they are
Your idea of "happiness" could be someone's worst nightmare, or they're just not ready to "change" yet. All you can do is make it known that you're there for them, and overall, use your presence to support what they might want and meet them at their awareness levels, despite having differing views

The mainstream media will hide the truth.
Social media owners will always censor direct opposition.
The government will make sure all of this is done “legally”.
But, we are expected to believe they have “our best interests at heart”?
