I’m posting this because I have been trying to get a replacement part for my 2016 BS3 KTM RC 390, but after months of contacting KTM and multiple authorised dealerships, I still have no resolution.
My motorcycle has been off the road since April 2026 because I need a cylinder head assembly (Part No. JY511137).
I first approached multiple authorised KTM service centres to source the part, including dealerships in Kochi, Bangalore and Mumbai. After checking with them, I was informed that the required part was not coming from the factory/company.
Only after exhausting the dealership route and having no other option left did I contact KTM India directly by email on June 23, 2026, asking them to help source the part.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that Part No. JY511137 was used on the KTM 390 engines until 2023, meaning this is not some extremely old or obsolete component that was discontinued decades ago.
I then repeatedly followed up with KTM India regarding the issue. My case was registered under Reference No. ISR-3002831.
On August 7, KTM India responded stating that they would escalate the matter and ensure that I receive a response and resolution as soon as possible.
However, I am still waiting for the promised update.
My RC 390 has now been sitting off the road for months, not because the motorcycle cannot be repaired, but because KTM has been unable to help me source a required replacement part.
@India_KTM@Bajaj_Auto_Ltd, I would really appreciate it if someone from the relevant team could look into ISR-3002831 and provide a concrete resolution.
I have been waiting long enough to get my motorcycle back on the road.
