Our Chief Executive Noyona Chundur took part in a Banking Roundtable hosted by Finance Minister Caoimhe Archibald yesterday, to discuss banking services and new access to cash rules introduced by the Financial Conduct Authority to ensure that communities impacted by branch closures can continue to access services.
Noyona was joined by a range of representatives from the finance, business, community and voluntary sectors, as well as trade union representatives, to discuss banking services and new access to cash rules.
Noyona commented, “I had a very informative and productive discussion on access to cash and banking services, co-designing solutions that prioritise consumer and community needs, particularly those of vulnerable groups, and the importance of better and more connected collaboration across the ecosystem. It was great to see the @ConsumerCouncil's consumer advocacy and research being referenced by colleagues around the table. However, there is still plenty to do if we want to advance financial inclusion for all.”
