Back to the beginning ⏪
On this day in 1999, Tennessee defeated Florida State 23-16 in the inaugural BCS National Championship Game, the first true national championship game in college football history 🏆
I think "dating to marry" is the entire point of dating and doing it for "fun" is a giant waste of both you and your boyfriend/girlfriend's time. The mindset of dating for reasons besides marrying is what's creating most of the problems with dating in the first place.
There are only two kinds of people in this world — people who think Dustin Pedroia should be in the Hall of Fame and people who I never want to speak to ever again.
Dustin Pedroia is on the Hall of Fame ballot, and if not for the knee injury (suffered at age 33) that effectively ended his career, his would've been a slam-dunk case. He finished with a lifetime batting average of 1,805 hits, a ROY Award, an MVP Award, 4 Gold Gloves, 4 All-Star appearances, three World Series titles. He would've had an absolute blast among inductees at Cooperstown.
Here is what we KNOW to be true about this theory; awful lot of coincidences for the people to argue against it...
1) Beamer was already caught once before taking information about teams game plans ect... in 2016 he was fined $25,000 for the Wake Forest leak scandal.
2) We know that Stallions did indeed steal hand signals from opposing teams AND even potential CFP teams in 2022. Widely reported that he attended a Tennessee & a Clemson game to steal signals. It has also been reported that Stallions shard potential CFP teams signals with other programs.
3) South Carolina's DC in 2022 coached with Jim Harbaugh at Stanford, easy line of communication there to transfer stolen signals to South Carolina's future opponents.
4) Why USCjr? Well, their final two opponents just happened to be potential CFP teams that would make the playoff over Michigan IF somehow the Wolverines had lost to Ohio State in the final game of 2022. How do you clear a path for yourself despite a lose to the Buckeyes? To insure that the teams that could potentially bump you also lost a game.
5) South Carolina was a horrendous offensive team before the Tennessee & Clemson games. The only other time that season they scored more points in a two game stretch was against Charlotte & South Carolina State (104 points). They scored 94 total against Tennessee & Clemson. The week before playing Tennessee they scored 6 against Florida.
6) On the flip side of that, in 2022 Tennessee's defense only allowed one opponent outside of USCjr to score 34+. That was Alabama with a former Heisman winning QB & #1 overall draft pick. In 3 seasons under Banks the Vols have allowed an opposing offense to score 50+ twice. in 2021 against a 13-2 Alabama team that played for a NC & the 2022 Gamecocks with a dud HC & QB.
7) In the game against Tennessee, South Carolina's defense started using defensive wrist bands for the first time all season. Those wrist bands were somehow coincidentally color coated to match the same colors as the Tennessee hand signers on the Vols sidelines.
8) Rattler that night against the blitz was incredible, just look up the stats. Now how did he know exactly where to attack a blitz from? Almost as if they had the perfect play call on for a blitzer.
9) Here are Rattlers stats against Tennessee/Clemson in 2022 vs. 2023
2022: 55/76 (72.3%) 796 yards, 8 TD's, 2 INT's: 94 total points scored
2023: 40/69 (57.9%) 281 yards, 0 TD's, 2 INT's: 27 total points scored
10) Beamer has 6 wins against teams with a winning record, can someone show me the outlier here...
2021: ECU (7-5)
2022: Kentucky (7-6), TENNESSEE (11-2), CLEMSON (11-3)
2023: Furman (FCS, 10-3), Kentucky (7-6)
