Something about this crash doesn’t sit right
A Boeing 787 is one of the most advanced passenger aircraft in the world. It’s built to handle engine failures, weather, and even major system issues. Yet today, one crashed right after takeoff from Ahmedabad
What’s deeply unusual:
◾️The plane was in the air for less than a minute
◾️It reportedly didn’t climb beyond 600 feet
◾️The landing gear may not have retracted
◾️No clear distress call was received
◾️The aircraft was fully fuelled for a long-haul flight
◾️This is the first fatal crash of a 787 in commercial service
This isn’t how a modern plane is supposed to behave. Not a 787. Not under normal conditions
Something serious went wrong either with the aircraft itself, or with the checks before takeoff.
People lost their lives today. Families are waiting for answers. And the aviation system must respond with honesty, urgency, and care.

Our diplomacy is a tragic exaggeration
Politicians tweet how their hearts are wrenched. Celebrities clarify that safety is their utmost priority. Ministers blame. Compensation pours down the throats of the families.
And that is all human life is worth.

These "no major breakthrough" peace talks happened in the midst of a drone attack mirroring the Trojan Horse warfare strategy by #Ukraine and 1,430 Ukrainian soldiers killed by #Russia.

🤝 What Russia and Ukraine agreed on in Istanbul during round 2 of talks
Russian delegation head Vladimir Medinsky shared the key outcomes of the negotiations with Ukrainian representatives in Istanbul.
Key statements:
🔸 Russia handed Ukraine a draft memorandum on settlement, which Kiev took for study.
🔸 The Russian settlement memorandum consists of two parts; it is detailed and well-developed.
🔸 The first part focuses on how to achieve genuine long-term peace.
🔸 The second part outlines steps for a full ceasefire, allowing for flexibility and multiple ways to reach the goal.
🔸 Russia will unilaterally transfer 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers to Kiev next week, having identified all the deceased.
🔸 The parties agreed on the largest prisoner exchange.
🔸 The total prisoner exchange will be at least 1,000 people, possibly more.
🔸 Sick and seriously wounded prisoners will be exchanged on an "all for all" basis.
🔸 Moscow and Kiev will create a commission to exchange seriously wounded fighters without political decisions.
🔸 The sides will exchange fighters under the age of 25.
🔸 Russia offered Ukraine a “concrete ceasefire” lasting two to three days in certain frontline sectors.
🔸 Moscow and Kiev agreed to ceasefire in specific areas so commanders can retrieve the bodies of their soldiers.
🔸 Ukrainian military promised to work out the ceasefire proposal for certain areas soon.
🔸 Kiev turned the issue of “child abductions” into a “show for sentimental Europeans.”
🔸 There are no children kidnapped by Moscow; only children rescued by Russian soldiers.
🔸 Russia received a list of 339 children from Ukraine who are in difficult situations due to the conflict.
🔸 Moscow returns children to Kiev if their parents or legal guardians are present.
🔸 Russia is working on reuniting families separated by the Ukraine conflict.
🔸 The negotiations with Ukraine were conducted in Russian.

Why did the CDS discuss jet losses in Singapore with Bloomberg, not Indian media?
Why did he agree for an interview on foreign soil with a channel known for its anti-India stance?
Unguided diplomacy is damaging.
We don't know what was gained out of it, but the damage...
The CDS shouldn't have given an interview to a media outlet known for its anti-India stance, especially not from foreign soil.
If it was deemed necessary, he should have adhered strictly to the official narrative: “Losses are a part of combat, but what matters is that we achieved our objectives.”
While he didn’t disclose anything that wasn't already known publically, in diplomacy and foreign affairs, the choice of words is critical. Unfortunately, his remarks are now being misused to bolster Pakistan’s false "6-0 jet kill" narrative.
Worse : When asked about the threat of nuclear war, he said, “The most rational people during conflict are those in uniform... both sides showed rational conduct... so why assume irrationality in the nuclear domain?"
This is more damaging than it seems. By calling Pakistan’s military “rational,” he inadvertently legitimizes their false image as a responsible nuclear power, despite their history of nuclear brinkmanship, first-strike threats, and using nukes as cover for terrorism.
Such statements undermine India’s consistent stance on Pakistan’s reckless nuclear behavior and send the wrong signal internationally.
It’s hard to believe that the GoI would have approved these talking points. Clearly, there seems to be a serious lapse in communication judgment on the part of the CDS. There’s a reason Army Chiefs generally don’t give live interviews. Why the CDS agreed to one, on foreign soil, and that too to Bloomberg, is beyond understanding.
