Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming! Classes can visit during their library times next week and make purchases. The fair will also be open during parent-teacher conferences. Credits from sales go back into our school library for students to enjoy for years to come.

The province had declared Sept 30 a provincial holiday in recognition of the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. The day honours the lost children & survivors of the residential school system, their families and communities. There will be no school for students Fri. Sept 30.
We celebrated National Tree Day today by planting 100 seedlings in our school garden, to grow into larger trees. A huge thank you to @PALSpartners
at the JDI Sussex Nursery and Steph, as well as our community partner Jim Landry, ED w/ Landscape NB/PEI.
Government offices and schools in New Brunswick will be closed on Monday, Sept. 19, as part of the National Day of Mourning for the passing of the Queen.

Some of our Seaside Park classes were treated to a special meet and greet with Latvian sculptor Pauls Jaunzems. Pauls is creating a stone sculpture that will be a permanent art fixture at Seaside Park for all of our community to enjoy!
