A seaming Trent Bridge/Lord's wicket and a spinning Chennai/Motera wicket are both equally bowler friendly. So either you think both are poor, or you think that in both cases the visiting batsmen cope far worse than the home batsmen.
Completely agree with @nassercricket, @GeoffreyBoycott & @Athersmike. Eng were 73-2 after winning the toss on a pitch where 250 would have been a really good score. That they were all out for 112 was primarily due to poor technique/approach. That's where match was lost. #INDvsENG
There is nothing in the rules that says what type of pitch should be prepared. We had first choice of the surface and they were better than us. Simple.
There have been 11 instances of a team getting bowled out for under 100 since the beginning of 2000.
Five of these have been by England.
The other six, once each for Bangladesh, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies.
The problem is in their batting.

England's list reads as follows:
58 vs New Zealand at Auckland
77 vs West Indies at Bridgetown
85 vs Ireland at Lord's
67 vs Australia at Headingley
81 vs India at Ahmedabad

India lost in 2.5 days at Lord's in 2018. In 3.5 days in Manchester 2014, in 2.5 days Adelaide 2020...
India won in 3.5 days in Jo'burg 2018 on the greenest wicket I have ever seen...
Don't remember you asking this then... Cheers!
@the_slogsweeper@1tip1hand We are a podcast that doesn’t whine and blame the pitch when the team we support gets outplayed after winning the toss and after having picking the wrong team. Instead we criticize our team.
On the life threatening tracks like Joburg, even when the home teams started complaining and walking away, team India stood there and was willing to fight. Bold of Poms to assume this team will whine over Green tracks in the next tour.
Why is it a problem when seamers take 20 wkts in a day with the pink ball ? And While some players are hurt in the process. If those weren’t bad pitches, this isn’t either #INDvENG
English pitch aficionados didn’t complain when india finished day 1 on 90 odd for 3. One bad innings from India and the whinnying starts. #INDvsENG_2021 how long has d/n tests lasted on an average since they were first played ?
Good stance by the Indian cricket team to not complain about pitch / conditions when they tour. #INDvENG Limits the whining cry babies from the opposition and their supporters to just twitter.
