We are a people-powered movement demanding that the City of Seattle create its own Green New Deal to eliminate climate pollution by 2030.

(1/6) Earlier today, reports of a person throwing a “suspicious package” onto a Line 3 construction site were used to vilify water protectors. Emergency alerts called the incident a potential “explosive hazard,” but law enforcement confirmed no explosive devices were at the site.

YES! Seattle City Council unanimously passes a #GreenNewDeal resolution that commits our city to zero climate pollution by 2030, addressing historic injustices and creating 1000s of good green jobs

We did it! #seattlegreennewdeal passed unanimously out of city council. Onto next stage, pushing to implement the community vision of a just green economy! They voted to strike the Mayor's Veto on the SBT Fund so the funds will go to Community as it was intended. What a good day!
