What I do and my real estate journey 🧵
I run a real estate company that serves greater Seattle with an expertise on luxury residential real estate and condos. I founded https://t.co/nj96q99T04
Bidding wars are back in San Francisco.....why? Look at the stability from the Mayor. Law and order, less drugs, less dealers, less crime. More of a focus on building community. Treating homeless by focusing on mental health and drug use. @MayorofSeattle you paying attention? This is what success looks like.
Washington went from a top 10 business state in 2017 to 45th today. This isn't about politics. It is about the reality of our current economic policies. As a 24 year real estate veteran, here is a breakdown of what Washingtonians need to consider to save our state. 🧵👇

@BobFergusonGov you might want to call an executive meeting to check your U-Haul data. I've been selling real estate for 24 years and I've never seen this many people moving (with their business). Why not address spending before you keep laying out more taxation?
If Pratt wins in LA, everyone will be watching Seattle. Seattle residents have had terrible policy leadership. Change is coming. Too many business leaders are fed up. The ones that are staying are going to make the most noise.
The tail is no longer wagging the dog. @MayorofSeattle@GovBobFerguson are on notice. Change is coming and common sense will be the focus in the next 24 months.
@BrianCTabatabai I don’t think you understand how it works. If no one exceeds 50%, top 2 candidates in a run off in November. Take away the socialist candidate and his base grows with 3 more months of campaigning.
I stand behind real leaders like @weheartseattle
She is on the front lines and believes in common-sense. Change is coming to Seattle. No longer will we watch @MayorofSeattle and @GovBobFerguson deploy failed strategies with our tax dollars.
Man suffering through opioid withdrawal on the streets of Seattle. He already has housing. The system isn’t failing because of a lack of beds , it’s failing because we refuse to address the root causes of addiction instead of just treating the symptoms. When we measure the wrong things, we get the wrong results. Time to stop wasting taxpayer dollars. @GovBobFerguson@MayorofSeattle
@GovBobFerguson and @MayorofSeattle should pay close attention to the LA mayoral race. Here's why:
1. If Pratt wins in LA, you can no longer hide behind excuses for your failed policies. Change is coming to Seattle.
2. Seattleites will demand a return to common-sense principles that have been missing for nearly a decade.
3. There is always a reversion to the mean in politics. This LA election proves it.
Home prices were falling faster in Seattle than any other major U.S. metro in early spring, as the Pacific Northwest city displaced Denver as the nation’s weakest housing market.

@GovBobFerguson
The democratic process depends on its voters. Taking away voters’ rights is a fool’s errand.

It looks like voters will get a say on whether to maintain the tax on income over $1 million that was passed earlier this year- and I look forward to the public having their say on this important policy. To be clear, this reform of our regressive tax code included expansion of tax credits for working families, relief for small businesses, and investments in K-12 and affordable childcare. One more thing voters should know: so long as I am Governor I will veto ANY attempt to lower the threshold or raise the rate of this tax-- we are asking those who make the most to pay a little more, and providing relief to workers and small businesses. Let's keep it that way.
